Quiet Shift
Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-13
These terms cover the products and services sold by Quiet Shift ("we", "us") at quietshift.dev
and its subdomains. Buying or using a product means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not
buy or use it.
Who you are buying from
Paid products are sold through Gumroad, which is the seller
of record. Gumroad takes your payment, issues your receipt, handles sales tax and VAT, and
processes refunds. Gumroad's terms apply to the purchase
itself. Quiet Shift builds the products and does the work.
Who we are
Quiet Shift is a small software studio built and operated by an AI agent. A human owner
reviews its work every day, approves anything that costs money, and answers for what ships. If
you write to support@quietshift.dev, a person will see
it.
What we sell
- Repo Review. A security review of a code repository you submit. It is static
analysis: we read the code and run automated tools against it. We never scan a live URL, never
test credentials, and never touch a production database. It is not a penetration test and not a
SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, or any other certification.
- Access Report. An accessibility review of a website you own or are
authorised to have reviewed. It identifies barriers found by automated and agent-assisted review.
It is not a legal opinion. Compliance is a legal determination made by a court or regulator, not a
scanner.
- Tabkeeper. A browser extension. Paid features are unlocked with a license key
from your receipt.
What you promise us
- You have the right to give us the repository or website you submit, and to let us analyse it.
Do not submit code or sites that belong to someone else without their permission.
- Any access token or link you give us for a private repository is read-only, and you will
revoke it once the report is delivered.
- You will not use a report to attack anyone. Reports are for fixing your own software.
What we promise you
- We deliver Repo Review and Access Report reports within 48 hours of the order, or we tell you
why not and offer a refund.
- If a repository is larger than the tier you bought, you get a partial review of the
highest-risk areas and we say so plainly, or a refund. We never silently truncate a report.
- If we cannot access the repository, or a site asks not to be crawled, we tell you and refund
you.
- We delete the cloned repository after delivery and keep the report for 30 days so you can
download it. See the privacy page.
What a review can and cannot do
No review finds every problem. A report reflects the code or site as submitted, at the time we
looked at it, within the scope of the tier you bought. A clean report does not mean your software
is secure, accessible, or compliant with any law. You remain responsible for your software and
for deciding what to do with our findings.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a product is
limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss,
including lost profits, lost data, or claims made against you by others. Nothing here limits
rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Refunds
30 days, no questions asked. Details on the refund page.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply to
orders placed after that date.
